About Us
Our approach to area management is changing in South Tyneside. We are a forward-thinking Council that is developing innovative approaches to meet our challenges. Focusing on People, Place and Partnerships, this is a great time to join us.
With our new Council Leadership, and a recent service review, we are looking to improve the delivery of street cleansing services, area quality monitoring and the development of local markets across the Borough. Our aim is to achieve excellent quality standards, to ensure that residents live in clean, green and connected communities where they feel safe.
Joining us at this time will ensure that you are part of a team committed to making positive changes. As an organisation we are fully committed to supporting our staff to grow and develop and will provide you with the opportunity to use your skills and learn new ones.
About The Role
You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of a high-quality, customer focused area management service within the Borough. You will work alongside colleagues to provide administrative support to the Community Operations service and operational teams, including performance monitoring, maintaining databases, systems and records used by the service.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual with good organisational and communication skills. A keen eye for detail will be crucial to provide support to the teams, so that they can maintain an efficient and effective service. You will have previous experience in business administration and have experience of producing performance information and analysing data.
