An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Home to School Transport Service for children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND).
 
The successful applicant will work with the SEND Transport Officer to support the development and strategic delivery of SEND transport initiatives ensuring that they are compliant with corporate and statutory requirements for the delivery of the service to eligible children and young people.
 
You will require knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation including the Children and Families Act 2014 (SEND reforms), Statutory Guidance for Home to School Transport 2014 and the Education Act. The successful candidate will also understand the challenges faced when providing a front-line service to a wide range of children and young people and their families.

We are looking for a team player with excellent IT, verbal & written communications skills, the ability to multi-task, problem solve under pressure, deal with changing priorities and working to deadlines is essential.
