Fixed Term contract for 2 years
There is a new Band 7, two-year fixed term secondment opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic FTE Commissioning Officer to join the Public Health team. The role will focus on supporting our Public Health commissioned Smoking Cessation and Substance Misuse services.
The role will involve collaborating with providers, healthcare, community organisations, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies aimed at reducing smoking rates and interventions to help address substance misuse within the community. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful public health initiatives, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and aligned with best practices.
This secondment offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience within public health commissioning, enhance your professional skills, have a strong focus on project management and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by smoking and substance misuse.
