This is an exciting opportunity to join our Parking Services team in a back office, business process and service development support role. The post holder will assist the Service Development Lead, working cross all sections of Parking Services, including the Clean Air Zone, Bus Lane Enforcement, Moving Traffic Enforcement, as well as supporting parking operations and enforcement across the city. The post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the service through producing performance reports and analysing and presenting service data and information.
The post holder will assist in the development and production of a suite of regular performance management reports, including occupancy and payment data, parking enforcement data, and associated payment data. They will also lead on a number of monthly financial reconciliations, as well as assisting in producing training plans and delivering training to staff within the service. The post holder will also be a first point of contact for payment system queries from the public and authorise and issue refunds as required.
Experience of performance monitoring and financial reporting is essential as is the competent use of IT including Microsoft Office applications. Experience and understanding of parking, bus lane, clean air zone and moving traffic enforcement is desirable, as is experience of project management.
The ability to undertake quality assurance checks to support service delivery and assist the Notice Processing Managers across the service in preparing correspondence relating to key stakeholders, corporate complaints and freedom of information requests.
The ability to operate both bespoke and generic software systems and have competent IT skills is essential for this role.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced; high volume team environment and have excellent communication and organisational skills. The job is part of a small worker group.
