The Governors are looking to appoint a Higher Level Support Assistant as part of a friendly, caring and hardworking team, to work across the whole school from EYFS to KS2.
 
Duties will include supporting and assisting teachers as part of a professional team. To contribute to raising standards of pupils’ achievement and to undertake a range of teaching and learning activities under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher, in line with the Trust’s policies and procedures.
 
The successful candidate will
 
  • be committed to promoting the Catholic ethos of our school
  • have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • have experience of working within a busy primary school environment
  • develop positive relationships with all stakeholders, to work effectively as part of a team
  • have experience of implementing successful interventions with pupils to improve progress
  • have high expectations of in all areas of school life, including academic standards and behaviour
  • have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a good sense of humour.
