This is a time of exciting change in South Tyneside and we are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner within one of our Supporting and Strengthening Families Teams.

In South Tyneside our children and families are at the forefront of everything we do.  We want every child and family to feel supported in times of need and empowered to make the right decisions.  We take pride in our social work teams, where staff are valued and supported and where we work together to drive this vision forward.

If you are an experienced practitioner who has a proven track record of working in a statutory team with Children who are subject to Child Protection, Child in Need, Care Proceedings and Public Law Outline then this is the job for you.  South Tyneside is a great place to work and practice.  We offer excellent training and development, carer development, robust reflective supervision as well as having excellent tools to help you in your daily practice.

We have a dedicated Supporting and Strengthening Families Team, who are committed to improving outcomes for children, young people and their families through the provision of high quality social work intervention and child centred practices.  We are seeking to appoint a senior practitioner who has statutory social work experience. Developing effective relationships with children, young people and their families to achieve sustainable outcomes is at the very heart of what we do.  If you hold the same values, believe you can make the difference and are looking to join a team who will deliver and support, then look no further.
