As we approach our fourth year of embedding a relational and restorative practice culture across our service, we are looking for motivated, child-centred social workers to join our skilled and enthusiastic workforce. If you want to join a service which is rated Good in all areas, and is committed to working with families, rather than doing to them, then Newcastle is the place for you.
 
The Role  
We are looking for Social Workers that are starting their AYSE and those who are already progressed for our Children in Care & Care Leavers Service and our Long Term Service. Please see the attached documents for more details and indicate on your application which posts you would like to be considered for. We are currently looking to recruit to the following teams:
 
The Children in Care and Care Leavers Service provide support to children and young people in our care, and those moving on to independence from our care. 
 
The long term service provides support to children and their families when a longer-term plan is required, including those subject to Child in Need and Child Protection Plans.
