The Service
The Supported Employment Service assists local people to access employment. We work with people who may need additional and targeted support such as people with learning disabilities and/or autism and young people with an education and health care plan.

The Team
Our FoodWorks Team is a key element of this service. FoodWorks provides a canteen service at Westgate college as well as a venue to provide work experience and training in a real-life work environment.

You will have:
  • A creative approach to working with those with learning disabilities and/ or autism.
  • A proactive approach to making a real difference to the lives of people who access the service.
  • Able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure when dealing with a busy work environment, as well as meeting the demands of customers and the needs of the people in placement.
  • You will be passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • You are an energetic, organised, and a positive team player.
  • Calm and focussed as well as showing initiative and being creative.
