£23,893 pa pro rata (£12,38 ph)  

 
To be responsible for transporting children and young people with special educational needs to and from school, utilising school minibuses as and when required.
 
The successful candidates will join a pool of drivers with responsibility for transporting children and young people to and from various schools when needed.
 
Knowledge of the local area is essential.  You must hold a clean, current UK driving licence with category D1 included.
 
Working pattern will be approximately 7.30am – 9.00am and 3.00pm to 4.30pm. 
 
Applicants will support school staff in ensuring that students are transported safely and happily to and from school. 
 
The ideal candidates will:
  • have experience of working with young people with special educational needs;
  • be a committed team player;
  • have the ability to engage with pupils;
  • be prepared to take part in any relevant training required;
  • be flexible with regards to work patterns;
  • be available for work during school term times.
