Further Information
Newcastle City Learning is seeking to recruit a motivated, inspirational and committed Early Years Tutor to join our growing Employer-Led and Apprenticeship team.

Teaching and learning in our area is led by employer demand. We deliver a wide range of qualifications and apprenticeship standards to learners aged 16 and over who are in employment.

You should have knowledge and experience of delivering apprenticeship standards and/or vocational qualifications in Early Years. You must have passion, drive and determination to enable your learners to progress and reach their full potential.

You must be able to develop curriculum that meets the needs of the individual learner and their employer. You’ll be expected to deliver face-to-face learning in a classroom environment, conduct visits to the workplace and offer online tutorials.

You will need to be flexible as you may be required to work across a number of locations within the city.

Occupational competence and qualifications related to your specialism are essential. You must also possess both assessing and teaching qualifications or be willing to work towards them.

To find out more about the opportunity and your suitability for the role, please contact Cara Crow at Cara.Crow@newcastle.gov.uk or on 0191 277 3512.

Previous applicants should not apply.

We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is working in regulated activity. If you are successful, we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions, a check of police information and we will check the barred list(s). It is a criminal offence for a barred individual to apply for a job in regulated activity.

Apply online at www.northeastjobs.org.uk, select 'Apply Now' and complete our online application form. Any communication sent to you regarding your application will be sent to the email address you have set up on your Northeast Jobs account, so you will need to ensure that you check your inbox.
