Newcastle City Council is seeking up to two motivated individuals to join our Energy Service team as Energy Officers. They will help deliver exciting new energy projects and services across Newcastle upon Tyne and the wider region.

Energy Officers deliver energy advice and undertake the monitoring of utility costs and consumptions. In addition, they work in helping to identify energy saving opportunities

You should have a good understanding of energy matters, experience of energy monitoring systems and experience of delivering energy advice to residents, businesses, or staff.

You should have experience of producing reports using data and providing recommendations. You should possess good communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong customer care skills.

You will work as part of our Energy Services team, which is based at the Civic Centre in the heart of the City. Flexible working and a good holiday allowance are part of a competitive package for this role.
