West Jesmond Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented, energetic and enthusiastic Sports Mentor.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our exceptional team to enhance our very strong and varied P.E. and sports offer and make a real positive contribution to the education of our fantastic children.

The role will involve working with the school PE lead to:
-Promote sporting events across school
-Support the teaching of P.E. alongside class teachers
-Encourage and mentor teams, groups or individuals
-Take a lead in our active breaktimes
-Run after school groups and accompany teams to sporting competitions;
-Deliver focused pupil / group specific interventions linked to physical and social development.
