Who we are looking for:
We are seeking to appoint a Complaints Officer on a permanent basis to join our existing Complaints and Customer Relations Team, based at the Civic Centre. This is a new role within the Adult Social Care & Prevention Directorate, providing additional capacity to support complaints and enquiries.

Working with the Complaints Lead Specialist, you will work as part of the team that has responsibility for complaints and enquiries. You will oversee customer complaints from receipt through to resolution in line with statutory and corporate guidelines.

To be successful in the role:
You will be a highly motivated and committed team player, with experience of working in a busy customer services environment.
You will possess excellent communication, organisational and IT skills; and be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will enjoy talking to customers and possess an innate ability to empathise with them when handling complaints.
